Inoskashira Koen in Spring

I forgot to post about our Hanami(Picnic under Cherry Blossoms' trees) for this year. Nothing special because everyone was busy with their jobs, so one day Hanami idea was suddenly coming up and we chose one place to go. I don't know why we chose Inokashira Koen, but i think it was because we already went to Yoyogi Koen almost every year.

I never been there before, so i didn't know how crowded it could be on that day. It was extremely "crowded". I got stuck at the small street before the park because of long line almost 15min or maybe 0.5hour :D

Well, in my opinion Yoyogi Koen is better than Inokashira Koen. Yoyogi Koen is spacious(sport and games are Okay), greener(more grass and not to dusty), not to far(if you live in Tokyo). But Inokashira koen has a pond(Yoyogi has pond too anyway), you can rent boat(there is a rumor that couple who ride the boat together gonna break up), lots of nice restaurant/cafe and shops near this place, or maybe you can check Ghibli Museum too. So i don't mind if i go there again someday but not in Hanami season.

Shibazakura - Hitsujiyama Park, Chichibu

In Japan, spring is identical with Sakura(Cherry Blossom). But for this year, we tried to find another kind of Sakura and i got information about this place in the station. And at the same time, my friend was planning to go there too. So here we are.... in Chichibu, Saitama~ looking for sakura Field(not trees) aka Shibazakura. This park's name is Hitsujiyama Koen(羊山公園). And effected by not a good weather during this year Spring, the flowers was not blooming at the same time and not even had chance to full bloom. The snow was falling one week before we went there, made this field covered by snow for 2-3days. That's why some part of the flower's field was dying when we got there :(

権現堂堤-Gongendou Tsutsumi

I've been dreaming for a long time to see this Yellow Field. And last week i decided to see this one in Gongendou Koen - Satte, Saitama. Feel fascinated from the first time because i never look something like this before :) Colorful place with rapeseed color(Yellow), soft cherry blossoms with pink and blue sky in upperside. FYI, Cherry blossom festival is always held during late March until early April. So don't forget to check this place if you come to Japan Next Spring.


Rapeseed has pungent smell and i don't really like it. And after an hour walk, i felt like i got hay fever because so many pollens in the air.

Peach Flower

This is the first time for me to see Peach Flower in real. Really love it. I think it's more beautiful than Sakura~ I dedicated this pictures to my mom.
